In one of the oldest alleys in Bologna, Trattoria Leonida offers all the goodness of Emilian and Bolognese cuisine with a menu rich in tradition, where you can taste typical Bolognese dishes with ingredients characteristic of our areas, processed and prepared just like our grandmothers did.
The place where we offer our dishes is the same one that in 1600 hosted students from Germany who came to Bologna to attend university. Here they met with the innkeeper, also German, to breathe “home air”.
The same welcoming and familiar atmosphere can still be found within the walls of Trattoria Leonida with the difference that now it is the cuisine and typical Bolognese dishes that reign supreme, since 1938.
The restaurant awaits you in Vicolo Alemagna, in the historic center of Bologna, ready to let you taste the typical dishes of Emilian cuisine.
The Trattoria is a piece of Bologna's history, in Mauro Bassini's book "Qui era tutta lasagna", the moments in which the director Aldo Fabrizi and his crew used to have lunch and dinner at the Trattoria Leonida during the filming of the movie "Hanno rubato un tram" are remembered.
